NEZ Drift Championship – Round 1: A Spectacular Start in Finland in amazing place- we would call that - the diamond in Finland!

The opening round of the 2025 NEZ Drift Championship concluded with great success in Finland this past weekend, marking a truly memorable beginning to the season.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Finnish organizers for their incredible hospitality and effort. Hosting a NEZ Drift Championship event for the first time is no small thing, and they did an outstanding job in delivering a well-organized, professional, and unforgettable experience. The event ran smoothly, and the entire atmosphere was electric from start to finish.

A special mention must be made of the track — a truly fantastic venue that provided the perfect stage for fierce battles, great runs, and breathtaking action. Thank you to the organizing team for their hard work, passion, and dedication in making this event such a success.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to all the drivers who traveled to Finland to compete. Their skill, commitment, and showmanship delighted the fans and elevated the championship to new heights. The performances on track were nothing short of spectacular, setting a high standard for the rest of the season.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the incredible fans who came out to support the event. Your energy, enthusiasm, and love for the sport create the unbeatable atmosphere that makes drift events so special — thank you for being part of this journey with us.

And finally, congratulations to the Top 3 winners of Round 1! We are excited for what the rest of the 2025 season will bring — this thrilling start has only fueled the anticipation for the battles yet to come.

For 13 years, the NEZ drift championship has determined the strongest in the Northern region! We have big plans for the future and NEZ has time to grow bigger, but we have to run NEZ with respect, so maybe YOU will be the one to win the title of NEZ Drift Champion and win the gold medal for the final time.

The NEZ Championship in 2024 will be held with two stages, or originally two countries, which are on the calendar of each year from the first day.

BUT what next? next we are preparing a surprise for you, working together with Finland, Sweden and other countries, it is time to grow and it is time to give even more opportunities to drivers.

The NEZ drift championship is an open championship for any driver, but for season registrations, every PRO driver can apply for the stage when the registration will be announced before the current event.

There will be one champion, the medals will be distributed, and this time we will find out the best from two stages and reward them at the big Gala ceremony in Riga already in November.

The NEZ European Drift Championship will consist of 3 rounds in the 2023 season and yes, finally we are announcing a round in SWEDEN

Three stages, three completely different tracks, and one champion!

ESTONIA- SWEDEN- LATVIA

We have some changes! But we hope you will still LOVE it! Sweden stage will be already in JULY, so we will start with Sweden!

The NEZ European Drift Championship NEZdrift will consist of 3 rounds in the 2023 season.

Three stages, three completely different tracks, and one champion!

SWEDEN- ESTONIA- LATVIA

7-9 July Sweden. Mittsverigebanan After a long desire to hold a stage in Sweden, it will happen, many thanks to the Swedish organizers and the federation for the opportunity, which is certainly a great start to a long friendship, we have big plans together. And with their massive work- we have update in calendar- new place in Sweden and date! Event in Midsweden- Drift Weekend. Race together with Swedish drift championship, so Swedish drifters, it’s amazing chance for you to jump in and fight also for NEZ drift champion title and medals. And we heard that there are some nice track updates, can't wait.

11-12 August Estonia Kulbilohu Krossirada - The track first appeared on the calendar in 2022. The drivers immediately said that the track requires skill and is exciting, but they love it. A complete change of different levels, the track can be seen from the hills all around; the track is exciting, fast and requires skill. By the way, the NEZ PRO stage will take place together with the Estonian and Latvian Semi pro competition, which any Semi Pro driver can also join.

7-8 october Latvia Biķernieku trase The end of the season in Riga, when the seasons have already ended everywhere almost, we will end it together in Riga, giving the drivers the opportunity to drive the DMEC configuration. In the competition, not only Pro classes will start, but also Semi pro, but also Street. A great end of drifting, which we will celebrate together in Riga and determine the champion.

The NEZ Drift Championship is an open championship and does not require season registration. Drivers are invited to join any stage of their choice. The NEZ competitions take place together with the PRO championship of the given country.

The North Europe drift championship next year returns for more exciting and competitive season- we are back with 4 stages! We know you have been waiting for it for a long time!

NEZ CALENDAR 2020

1. 10-11 APRIL, EASTER DRIFT, ELMIA, Jönköping, SWEDEN

This event have the longest tradition as a competition in Sweden and we hope that it will become tradition for NEZ drift championship also. Event happening together with the expedition Bilsport Performance & Custom Motor Show that is held at the same time and has around 80,000 visitors and the drift competition has around 15-20,000 watching, which make it the biggest drift competition in Sweden.

It is a technical track layout with quite low speed, and the driver are just 1-2 meters from the spectators. Around the track are building’s, that makes the sound more amazing.

2. 15-16 MAY “ROLLERCOASTER FROM HELL” KEHALARING, KEHALA, ESTONIA

Is there still anyone who does not know this track? Yes, you only think about jumping in it, but no, the configuration of the track is special in that, the whole track is not transparent! We will discover the secret about thee jump - of course, you can jump, but when you are jumping you are even very out of line, jumping for a show is fantastic, but for the results it will only slow down your speed and completely change the line you need and destroy your result. The layout is fascinating with the fact that you are passing through a bridge also. The event itself is fascinating with the whole concept and you will not be disappointed!

3. 14-15 AUGUST, GRAND ARENA DRIFTING, TURKU, FINLAND

RADALLE.com Grand Arena Drifting will take place again in Artukainen, Turku, in the former capital of Finland. Turku is well known for beautiful girls, archipelago, historical monuments and nightlife (many students). The track itself is compact and easy to see from the area, and organizer this time will provide new layout. There will be a lot of off-track-action as well: live music, DJ, car and tuning show. Artukainen is a well-known area due to its history, and there will be expected a big amount of spectators at this many-sided event.

4. 28-29 AUGUST, NEZ DRIFT RIGA, LATVIA, BIKERNIEKI RACE TRACK- WITCH KETTLE

Riga itself does not ask questions, but the NEZ stage in Riga takes place in a configuration that is run only once per season. The witch-kettle configuration is unique with its location and special in that that driver drive it only once per season. No bend in the witch kettle configuration is transparent, it requires daring, and is considered one of the most exciting track configurations in Europe. The middle of the forest, the atmosphere, the festivities, the screen, the open paddock park make this event fantastic and exciting.
